Mediation

Conflict settlement through mediation
in couple, team and leadership conflicts
I completed my mediation training with Prof. R. Proksch in Nuremberg in 1994 and supplemented it with further training in teamwork, communication training, systemic psychotherapy, NLP and hypnotherapy (to uncover and resolve communication patterns and self-hypnosis), coaching and non-violent communication.

Mediation is about resolving a conflict between people “as they are”, without judgment, with equal respect for the individuality and history of each person.

The main difference to couple and family therapy as well as team development is that the focus is on mediating between “what is”, while team development also places great emphasis on developing potential and psychotherapy on this Helpful processing of the individual defense mechanisms is in the foreground.

In mediation, as an impartial mediator, I can help you to be heard, if in return you are willing to listen to the other side. I can offer you to translate your concerns into helpful language so that they can also be understood by your counterpart. And I can help you to interrupt escalations and resume communication in a manner that is helpful for all parties.

It is important for the success of a mediation that - apart from an introductory meeting - all conflict partners come to the meetings during and after the mediation in order to maintain impartiality.
